About TCGs
A TCG is simply a trading card game that you play online. Instead of collecting tangible cards and swapping them with your friends in person you do it online; you collect cards by playing games and trading with other members, display them on your webpage and interact with others via email. The aim of the game is to collect all the cards in a particular set and become a master of the set, each time you master you will receive a reward.
About A-List
A-List card decks feature all of your favourite actors, actresses, musicians, models and sports stars, basically anyone and everyone who's famous! Not only that but we also have sets dedicated to your favourite television shows, movies and music videos and in the future we will boast sets featuring your favourite characters from the big and small screen. There's something for everyone at A-List so why not join!?
Getting Stared
It is important that you read the rules and agree to adhere to them before you join. When you join you should select a set you would like to collect first from the card index then fill in the join form. You'll instantly receive your starter pack containing 3 cards from your collecting set, 6 random cards & 1 random special card. Once you have your starter pack displayed on your site let me know and then you are ready to start playing games and earning more cards.
Trade Posts
Your trade post is vital to you being a member to the TCG; without one you'll have nowhere to show off your cards and you will be unable to trade with other members because they will not know which cards you have! Your trade post most consist of:
A level badge appropriate to the level you are currently on
A link back to A-List
A trade log detailing the trade you have made and when and how you have earned your cards.
Your cards should be arranged into sections indicating which you are collecting and which you are willing to trade - this is not mandatory it just makes things easier for the other members.

Before you can level up or master you will need to earn some cards, there is several ways to do this including:

Levels
All members start on level 1 and as you earn more cards you will gradulally move up more levels. At A-List your level status is determined by your card worth rather than your card count. Let me when you are ready to level up via the appropriate form, please ensure you fill in the form once for every level you move up to ensure you receive the correct rewards. It is your own responsibility to pick up your rewards.

If you decide you would like to leave A-List please let me know via the appropriate form so I can take note of your cards and distribute them to the other members via the Free For All. Type 'Starring' in front of your name when filling in the join form to earn an extra random cards in your starter pack.
Staff and Owner Pay
As the owner of this tcg, I have decided to play as well. I also have staff that help update the site and keep the game running smoothly. To make it fair, to everyone, we play by the same rules as you do. However, we do not play any of the games that we update ourselves. We do receive extra cards for completing tasks around the site and/or for updating those games. All staff receive a monthly reward for completing their assigned tasks. I will also give out extra rewards to anyone who provides a service to the site, at my discretion.
Currently, I receive the normal 'image donation fee' and 'deck making fee' without the monthly bonuses available to regular donators, 6 random cards, 1 random special card, and 2 cards of choice for every game group I update (which is much less than the rewards you can win by playing them), and 1 choice card & 2 random cards for every general update I make on the site. I can also take any freebies from the updates, promotions and/or random cards offered. I play the 'slots', memory, and puzzle games, which are not dependant on previous information. I also participate in the lottery, post count and point count freebies on the forums. If you wish to comment on this, you can contact me using the sites contact form.
